I'm happiest chatting with the people I bump in to and finding out and understanding their view of the world. My studies in biology have given me a deep respect for the natural world. As a scientist, my daily work revolves around precision and observation, so picking up a camera has always felt like a natural extension of who I am. Photography fits perfectly into this mindset—it allows me to observe and capture the intricate details, both big and small, that make up our world. My interpretations are honest, diverse and often contradictory.
